3 Tips For Actually Making It To The Gym

I am not going to lie, as much as I love working out, it is hard for me to get to the gym some days. I can honestly say that I always have the desire to exercise, but I know all of the work that goes into getting to the gym, not to mention my actual workout once I get there ha! I have found certain things that help motivate me and get there though so I am going to share them with you guys today! 

1. Preparation Preparation, Preparation!
If I don't prepare the night before, there is no way I am going to make it to the gym. I have 3 kids, one of them is 15 weeks old, my life is busy. In terms of prep, I try to get everyone's clothes out the night before, get our gym bags ready to go, and prep the kid's gym snacks. I also have a rough outline (at least in my head) of how the morning is going to go so that we can get out of the door on time. I know that if I go to all of the effort of getting this stuff ready, there is likely no way I am going to skip out on the gym because I have no excuse and because it took a lot of work ha! 

2. Take A Pre-Workout!
I swear by a pre-workout! I am a mom and I am almost always tired, so I have to have something that gets me pumped up and ready to workout. When I started taking a pre-workout after I finished nursing Riley it was a game changer for me! Now they have pre-workouts that you can safely take when you are nursing or pregnant, which is awesome! I take the Cara Loren Pre-Natal Pre-Workout and I love it! It is super clean, but gives me the energy and pump I need to get a great workout! And no, this is not sponsored, I genuinely love it!

3. Make A Commitment To A Friend and/or A Class
If you make a commitment to a friend that you will meet them at the gym, or to an instructor that you will attend their class, then it's a whole lot harder to let them down, then it is to let yourself down. I also have to commit to my kiddos ha! When I tell them that we are going to the gym the next day, they wake up asking me when we are going to go! This is great, except for when someone gets sick because then they are super upset with me ha! 

At the end of the day, if it is important enough to you, then you are going to make it happen!
