My Must-Haves For Baby #3

1/2/3/4/5/6/7
I have never been the type of person who feels the need to buy all of the new baby items that are currently on the market. With that being said, there are some things that I think are well worth buying and can make all the difference in the world! Another thing I have realized is that each baby is so different and I've had to purchase some different things with each one of them. These are the must-haves that I have for baby Clint.

1. Halo Swaddle
I didn't swaddle Rosalie or Riley, I tried, but I failed. I just couldn't get the swaddle tight enough and they would always wiggle out of it. I realized that I needed something that made swaddling easy. This Halo Swaddle was perfect! All I had to do was put Clint inside of it, zip it up, and close the little wings.

2. Boppy Nursing Pillow
I absolutely love Boppy pillows. I have used them with all of my kids and they are so nice to have while nursing. They keep my arms from getting exhausted, and they lift my baby up to the perfect nursing height.

3. Rock N' Play
With my other two kiddos, I just used the Rock N' Play during the day for naps, but with Clint he actually sleeps in this at night. He spits up a lot more than the other two ever did and I suspect that he has acid reflux. The way the Rock N' Play elevates his head is perfect for stopping the spit-up. I will also get a crib wedge when he is bigger and I move him into his crib.

4. WubbaNub Puppy Pacifier
If Clint has taught me anything, it is that each baby is SO different! I couldn't get Rosalie or Riley to take a pacifier, but thankfully Clint will. I especially love his WubbaNub Puppy Pacifier because the little puppy weighs the pacifier down on his chest and makes it harder for him to spit it out and lose it. They have other animals too, which I think is super cute!

5. Fisher Price Baby Swing
My mom bought this swing when Rosalie was about 6 months old and it was so nice to have! Rosalie slept so well in it during nap time, and she was transfixed by the little mirror and mobile at the top. It also has music that plays, as well as nature sounds, all of which my kids have loved! I don't know about you, but anything that helps my baby sleep and keeps them happy and entertained is a must in my book!

6. Owlet Smart Sock Monitor
I bought the first version of this sock with Riley, but he was so small when he was born (only 5 pounds) that it didn't work properly and the alarm would sound incorrectly. I ended up returning it, but knew I wanted to try it again with my next baby. This time around it has been amazing! I don't know if it is because the sock was updated or because Clint was bigger when he was born, but it has worked perfectly since day one! This sock has given me more peace of mind than any item I have ever purchased for my babies. I would recommend it to anyone! I sleep so much better because I know that Clint's oxygen levels and heart rate are both constantly being monitored and I will be alerted if anything is wrong.

7. Gerber Baby Gowns
I used these gowns with Rosalie, but for some reason I forgot they existed with Riley. They are so nice to put on Clint at night time because he is still pooping all of the time and I have to change his diaper multiple times in the night. These make the process quick and easy and I'm not fumbling around with buttons, or even a zipper, in the dark.

What are your must-haves?

xoxo
Rachel
