You're Gonna Miss This...

You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this
These are lyrics from a pretty popular country song called "You're Gonna Miss This" By Trace Adkins and I just love them! The song itself is amazing and I you should definitely listen to the whole thing, but the chorus is my favorite. I love how it is reminding me that life now is wonderful and amazing and I shouldn't wish it away. Sometimes I find myself saying or thinking, when Chanse is done with school, when we have more money, when Rosalie is older, when the new baby gets here.... and I realize that I am not living in the present. My life is good now and one of my goals this year is to focus on not just living in, but treasuring the present!

And now here is some of what my life is like in the present....

Bright and early to the gym on Monday morning. This was the first day I realized that I was getting the horrible cold that Chanse and Rosalie have, so I made sure not to push too hard, but it just felt good to get my blood pumping.
We went to our ultrasound after I got home from the gym and we got to see our sweet baby boy! He was wiggling so much during the ultrasound and I loved seeing him move. He is perfect! It will always be amazing to me how much you love this little person that you have never met!
When we pulled into our apartment Rosalie asked to watch Sofia, so of course I obliged. I forgot what it was like to watch shows that I actually choose unless Rose is napping haha! It is totally worth it though because she lets me work while she enjoys her show. :)
This is the face she makes when she is really into her show. I don't know if she is concerned, or anxious, or excited or what ha! It cracks me up!
Chanse had Monday off from school so we took advantage of using the gift card for Outback that my sweet grandparents gave me for my birthday. Rosalie loved coloring (despite the look on her face), but passed out in my arms before her lunch arrived. Good thing there are to-go boxes. ;) And yes I forgot to take pictures of my delicious sandwich. :(
On Monday night I realized that I was really getting sick so I ran to the store to get some medicine that I was actually allowed to take while pregnant. Rosalie accompanied me and this is the face she made when I told her to smile for Auntie Courtney (I was sending her a SnapChat). My username is rachrinder if you'd like to follow me. And if you have a SnapChat let me know in the comments. It's my favorite!
While we were at the store I rented Minions for Rosalie so she could watch it before bed. She loved it a lot more this time around than she did in theaters and was transfixed!
I put Rosalie to sleep every night still and treasure these moments so much. I know this is something that I am definitely going to miss! Last night she wanted to hug me while she went to sleep and my heart pretty much melted into a big puddle. She is the sweetest girl ever and is starting to talk so well. I love how when I get her from her nap she will say, "I miss you mommy." Or when I give her a snack or food she will say "Thank you mommy." Or my favorite is when she has an owie (real or pretend) and will say "Kiss it better mommy?"
I know I am smiling really big in this picture, but I honestly didn't feel great at the gym on Tuesday. I did what I could though and I actually think that some of my cardio helped to clear out my sinuses. Do you go to the gym with a cold? I know some people say "It's just a cold", but others find it better to rest.
And because I am all about posting gym selfies I found these hilarious!
I personally don't think there is anything wrong posting about your workout if it holds you accountable, helps you to feel like you are making progress or for whatever reason. But these are still funny...
After the gym Court (my sis) and I took the kids to Story Time at the library. She is a beast so of course she was the gym before too! Rosalie loves Story Time and I love that I get to hold Jax. He is the cutest baby ever and has the sweetest little personality! Rosalie loves him to pieces and she lights up whenever she goes to gym daycare with him, gets to help babysit him, or pretty much just sees him.
Rosalie is starting to get more and more involved and today Court said that she couldn't believe she was almost 2. I can't either! Where does the time go?!
When we got home from grocery shopping on Tuesday she hopped right into her car. Court dropped it off the night before, and it is her favorite thing ever. When I tried to take a picture of her in it she pointed at me and said, "No pictures mom!". She is seriously hilarious!
Then I told her she could have a graham cracker.....
Nap Time! And yes if you were wondering, I let her wear her Princess Sofia nightgown all day long. :)
This little one is my helper and shadow. Where ever I go, she follows me. I was making dinner in the kitchen and she came to help out.
 Selfies!
She liked that she could see herself and me on the camera screen.
Buffalo baked chicken for the win. I will post my adaptation of the recipe soon.
And then we had Family Home Evening and Chanse read Rose some books and that was our day. I feel blessed and I am definitely treasuring these moments because I know I'll miss them!
xoxo
