Snapshots From Our Weekend

We had a pretty low-key weekend since Rosalie and Chanse were still trying to get over their colds, but sometimes those weekends are the best. Extra family time is always a win in my book.
I took Rosalie with me to run a few errands on Friday and I bundled her up so that her little cold wouldn't get worse. She is doing better though and we took her to the doctor and he said she was on the mend. I am a worrier mom, so it always feels good to know that she is healthy. :)

Rosalie loves to color pictures, so I whipped out the crayons and paper on Saturday so that she could color. Her favorite part of coloring was dumping the crayons out and then picking them up ha! I think that she is right handed, but I am still holding onto hope that she will be left handed like her mama. ;)
Then before bedtime she decided that she wanted to dress up like Princess Sofia and play with her Elsa doll. She is such a little girly girly and I LOVE it! Having a daughter is the best thing ever!
On Sunday morning we took our regular pregnancy bump pictures, and I snapped a few of this cute girl. She loves nursery in our ward and I am so grateful for her amazing nursery leaders who just adore her. Chanse and I teach a class so it makes our lives much easier.
Me and my girl.
I couldn't resist snapping this photo of Chanse because he just looks so handsome!
I had to run back into our apartment to get our lesson manual and I came back downstairs to this. Chanse and Rosalie were dancing and my heart just melted!
For lunch I made a little something my mom made up called Beef over Rice. The name is oh so original ha, but it really does taste great! It is super easy to make, so I will have to share the recipe soon.
Rosalie wanted to get to her food while I was still getting things ready ha! She had two of her favorites lately, cucumbers and black beans. She is not a fan of red meat at all, but we just keep trying little by little. :)
Rosalie came with me to do my visiting teaching on Sunday because my poor companion got sick, and afterwards she was pretty tired, but didn't want to nap. This was the result...
I didn't think it looked comfy but she sure liked it.
And to end our lazy Sunday, we snuggled on the couch.
Like I said it was pretty low-key, but that was just what we needed this weekend. Don't worry Chanse and I did get out of the house a few times to go to the gym and we did go as a family to get some groceries so we weren't complete hermits. ;)

Have a wonderful Monday!

  1. Aww glad to hear your little lady is on the mend! Sick babies are no fun. And go you for keeping trying things she's not a fan of! I feel like wat my son 'will' or 'won't' eat change weekly, so we basically just give him what we 'expect' him to eat to reinforce that he's not getting special treatment ahhaha
