Pregnancy #2 Update

I did pregnancy updates when I was pregnant with Rosalie, and I LOVE looking back at them, so I am going to do them for this sweet baby as well. You can check out my updates on my pregnancy with Rosalie here. These are more for me than for anyone else because it helps me to compile my pictures and thoughts in one place. This update is from weeks 10 to 14, but I forgot my 14 week picture....oops! And I wasn't showing at all before 10 weeks, so I don't have any pictures, but I will talk about how I felt. I will start doing weekly, or may every other week, updates after this (as long as I remember ha), so feel free to check them out. :)

10 Weeks
(Trust me when I say you didn't want to see my face in this picture ha!)
 11 Weeks
 12 Weeks
 13 Weeks

How far along? I'm currently 15 weeks, but this update is from when I first found out I was pregnant until 14 weeks.
How I found out? We had been trying for quite a while, so I had taken quite a few tests. I was a couple of days away from my period and had an extra test, so I thought, "what the heck, I might as well just see", and it was positive! I was SO surprised since I hadn't even missed my period yet, but SO excited!
How I told Chanse? I was so excited to tell Chanse, but he was at school so I knew I needed to go to him. I bought him an energy drink and made a little print out that said, "You are going to need all of the energy you can get with another baby on the way!", and went to school to give it to him. He was super surprised, but just as thrilled as I was. :)
Total weight gain:  I lost weight during my first trimester because I had the worst morning all-day sickness and food sounded horrible for a while, but I am almost back to my starting weight now. :)
Maternity clothes? Nope, not yet
Stretch marks? No. I didn't get any with Rosalie, but we will just have to see with this one.
Sleep: With this pregnancy I have been so much more tired than I was with Rosalie. From about week 5 to week 11 I was absolutely exhausted at the end of the day, and I felt like I needed so much extra sleep, but now I am feeling more human again.
Best moment this week: Since this update is for several weeks, I would say that my best "moments" were when I first saw our sweet baby on the ultrasound, hearing his/her heartbeat for the first time, and just feeling so blessed each day to be pregnant with another little angel!
Miss anything? Not really, I'm just so excited!
Movement: I haven't felt anything yet, and I didn't feel Rosalie move until about 21-22 weeks, so I am going to try and be patient. My uterus is tilted backwards, so it may take longer for me to feel this baby as well.
Food cravings: At first I was all about the carbs, and could only handle really mild foods. I am feeling a bit more normal now, but still have to be very careful with anything that will give me heartburn because my acid reflux is always super bad when I am pregnant.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I get really sick whenever I eat, but this isn't a pregnancy thing, this is just a "Rachel thing", so I'm working on figuring out what foods are causing it.
Gender: We won't know until about 20 weeks :)
Labor signs: No
Symptoms: heartburn, nausea, bloating, ya know the usual pregnancy symptoms ;)
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: I try not to be moody, but at the end of the day when I am feeling tired, I notice that I am a bit more moody. I am working on it though, and just trying to feel grateful. :)
Looking forward to: From the beginning of my pregnancy I have always looked forward to going in for my doctor's appointments. I loved seeing my baby for the first time, and just the reassurance that everything is okay.

xoxo
Rachel
