I've Tried Some New Workouts And Love Them!

I am no pro when it comes to exercise, but I do know what seems to work well for me. So when I find something that I like, I always want to share it. Keep in mind this is what I like and what works for ME :)

Right now I don't have a gym membership, so all of my exercises are done from home. I have a treadmill that I use for my cardio or I run outside. Sadly this hasn't been happening nearly as much as I would like lately, but it is my goal to do better.  I will hopefully have a gym pass in the Fall which will help me out as well, but until then I'm going to keep doing my best!

However, when it comes to my core, butt & legs, and my upper body, I have found some workouts that I really like. I started following @alexajeanfitness a little while back, and I liked some of the workouts that she posted on IG.  Then she released a 30 Day Sore to the Core Challenge that I knew I wanted to try. Soon after that she released a Butt & Thigh Challenge and an Upper Body Challenge. They are all ebooks, and you can find them here. I just downloaded all of them onto my iPad and iPhone, and I do them each morning.

Since Rose wakes up early, she sometimes crawls all around me and on me when I am doing them, but I love that I can still get them done! I really like that the workouts vary because this is something that I have a hard time with. The core workouts and leg&butt workouts also don't require equipment, which makes them easy to do from home. The upper body challenge requires some dumbbells, but that's it. I have completed the core and leg&butt challenges one time through, and I am currently doing the upper body challenge for the first time. I have taken some before and after pictures and have personally seen some results, but I am not really comfortable sharing them ha. I still have a long way to go, but like I said, I am always trying to improve and these workouts have helped me :) So if you're interested, I hope that they can help you too!

  3. I work out at home too and everyone always thinks I'm such a weirdo! But how good is it?! Complete privacy plus no gym fees, travel time or reliance on good weather... What more could you want? I'll have to try out your suggested workouts now. :-)
