I have been thinking a lot about being a mom, and how much it has changed me for the better. I love being Rosalie's mom and there is nothing else that I would rather be doing with my time. Looking back on this past year, I have learned so much about myself.
I have learned to love more deeply.
I have learned patience.
I have learned that babies often have their days and nights mixed up when you first bring them home.
I have learned that what works for someone else may not work for me, and what works for me may not work for someone else.
I have learned that my mom has been my biggest help when I have a question or concern about Rosalie.
I have learned that my mom has been my biggest help when I have a question or concern about Rosalie.
I have learned that breastfeeding is one of the most wonderful ways to bond with my baby, and I'm going to be sad when I stop.
I have learned that it is a lot more fun to buy clothes for Rosalie, than it is to buy clothes for myself
I have learned that I love having my baby in the room with me at night.
I have learned that I miss Rosalie when she naps.
I have learned that sweats and/or leggings are my best friends most days.
I have learned that I can survive off of little to no sleep and no caffeine.
I have learned that some aspects of my body will never be the same, and that's okay.
I have learned just how wonderful my husband can be.
I have learned that baby poop really stinks when you introduce solids.
I have learned that a mom knows what is best for their baby.
I have learned how hard it is to ache for your baby and want to take away all of their pain when they get sick.
I have learned that babies develop at very different speeds.
I have learned, even more so, that I am a worrier.
I have learned that exercising is much harder with a baby.
I have learned that the time between Rosalie going to bed and Chanse and I going to bed is precious.
I have learned that this what life is all about for me.
I have learned that I need my husband's help, love, and support.
I have learned how it feels to have another person rely on your for all of their needs.
I have learned how much I love being a mom.

Rosalie is the greatest gift that I have ever been given!
Beautifully written post...make sure you print it and put it in Rosalie's baby book. :) Susan
