What A Difference A Year Makes

I seriously can't believe that it is already Thursday, and that Christmas is in 2 weeks!!! I feel like I wait for this time of year, all year, and then it comes and goes before I know it. This year was even faster than usual though, and I think part of that has to do with the fact that Rosalie keeps me so busy all of the time. I always have these grand plans to post several days a week, but it often just doesn't happen. I love this little blog though, and as long as I can find a little bit of spare time in my day, I will keep posting :)

I was just thinking about how this time last year I was knee deep in finals, and super pregnant.
Wow what a difference a year makes!
I'm so excited to celebrate Rosalie's first Christmas. Even though I know she won't understand a ton of what is going on, I am still thrilled! She makes every single day better, so how could she not make Christmas better?!

Last year my days were filled with school, work, homework, and trying to get some sleep in here and there when I could. I thought that was hard and tiring, but I had no idea what was coming when I actually had Rosalie. It is so funny how it is such a different type of "work" raising a child. While this is the most rewarding job that I have ever had, and I LOVE it, it is still tiring. With that being said, I would choose being a mom over school any day (those of you who do both are amazing!), so I am super glad that I am done with school for now!
Just another day running errands with no makeup (who has time for that?!)......
I always have a buddy with me when I am running errands, and she can make me smile no matter how I am feeling :) I CANNOT be in a bad mood when this girl is smiling and babbling to me!
She is also so much fun to wake up next to in the mornings! She is still sleeping in the room with Chanse and me, and honestly I have no idea how long she will be in there with us. Right now, it works great for us, and I like it. I often wake up to her saying "mom mom mom mom mom" in her little bed, and I pull her into my bed for some snuggles. She will then look over and see her daddy, and start saying "dadadadada". He will give her some hugs and kisses too, and it is an awesome way to start the day!
So Rosalie is now 10 months and 1 week to be exact, and she still has no teeth ha! This makes feeding her kind of hard, but I am doing my best to give her a variety of different foods that are soft and easy to swallow. I would absolutely love some advice though on what to feed her? So from you mom's out there who had/have a 10+ month old without teeth, what do you feed them???
And since this post is all about Rosalie, I will just keep going ;) She is so clingy right now! She just wants mommy to hold her all day, every day! Yesterday I was standing right in front of her doing some exercises with my free weights, and she was literally screaming at me! Poor girl! She just wants mama's love I guess.
Oh and speaking of working out, I was so excited when I won a gift card to Fabletics from Annette and ordered this super cute outfit! I love, love, love running in these leggings because they actually stay on me without falling off. I also love this top because it is super breathable!! Oh and the headband came from Fabletics too, and I love it! Oh and please don't mind my puffy face! I just woke up and got right in my exercise clothes to run.
So since this post is all over the place, I am going to end with a picture of my amazing family. My sweet sister took our family pictures over Thanksgiving, and she did amazing. Considering we had very little time, and she had to be in some of the pictures herself, she did an amazing job! Visit her blog here, and her Instagram here to see some of her work! She is incredibly talented!!!
Have a wonderful day!

xoxo
