I hope that you all had an awesome Halloween and a great weekend! I know that we did :) I think that holidays are so much more fun with kids! I have never been a huge fan of Halloween, but this year I had a blast. I loved getting Rosalie all dressed up, and we had a great time at my sister's Halloween party.
This is a picture of Rosalie's first Halloween outfit of the day. My mom actually bought it for her before she was born, so it was crazy to put it on her and realize how fast time has flown by! She also has on her cute Halloween bow that my mom made her (of course).
I am normally the least creative person in the kitchen, so I was pretty proud of myself for making these little beauties :) I used red and yellow food coloring in the melted marshmallows to get them orange (obviously), and then used Rips for the leaves and pretzels for the stems. I made them specifically for my sis because she could actually eat them :) (I used spray butter instead of real butter).
I saw Rosalie's lumberjack onesie at Wal Mart about a month ago, and I decided right then and there that I wanted us to be a family of lumberjacks. I knew that Chanse and I already had boots and shirts, so we just needed some beanies :). It worked out so good, and Rosalie looked adorable.
I feel like I now know what my son is going to look like ;)
My sister and brother-in-law dressed up as The Incredibles, and I couldn't help but have a few good laughs at my BIL throughout the night ;) His pose in this picture is what cracked me up.
We had a donut eating contest, but poor Chanse couldn't get the donut in his mouth for the first 30 seconds. Needless to say he didn't win ha!
My amazingly talented sister Courtney had the idea to do a photo booth, and everyone loved it! Here are some of the pictures that she took of our little family :)
Rosalie was spot on with her adorable smiles :)
I'm even impressed with her tough girl face ;)
And here is a picture of the whole group
We got home late, and since she hadn't napped all day (that is a whole different post!), she was so tired! She was actually overly tired because she slept horrible that night, but it was worth it because she seemed to have a great time at the party! She loves people and attention, and she got tons of both!
On Saturday we went to dinner with friends and these are the only pictures I managed to capture. I seriously need to work harder on remembering to take pictures! I am trying!
I tried this recipe on Sunday, and it turned out pretty good. Rich, but good :) Sorry I forgot pictures once again.
I hope you have a great Monday!
xoxo
