Anniversary Week #3 Our Wedding Day

Our wedding day was on 8-3-12, and it was an an amazing day! I look back and can't believe that it will have been 2 years ago tomorrow. Seriously, where does the time go?! We have made so many incredible memories since then, but our wedding day will always be one of the best days of my life.

The day before my wedding I went through the LDS Temple for the very first time, and it was an awesome experience. My husband and family were there, and that made it even more special for me.
We got married on a Friday, and it was the most perfect day outside! It was warm and sunny, but I had one slight problem...I woke up that morning throwing up! That's right, worst nightmare come true. I couldn't get up, I couldn't eat, and I was a mess. Thankfully I was able to push through the sickness, and my mom helped me to get ready. Before I knew it, it was time to head to the temple. Chanse was waiting there for me when we  (my mom and I) arrived, and I felt much better just seeing him. The ceremony was wonderful, and it felt amazing to know that we were husband and wife. It is the most surreal feeling to suddenly be married when it is something that you have been waiting for your whole life, or at least it was for me.
I am so glad that we chose to be married in the Vernal, Utah Temple because we were the only wedding that day, and we had all the time in the world to take pictures and just enjoy the day. This temple is also very dear to my heart because I have come here many times over the years, and it has always felt like "my temple".  My dad also does all of the landscaping work at the Vernal Temple, so this just makes it even more special.
We both picked out rings that we felt were perfect for each other, and I think that we both did an amazing job! Chanse went above and beyond by creating my ring for me, but I guess I am just not quite as talented as he is ;) Oh well, he loves his ring anyways.

We had a dinner the night of our wedding, and our reception was the following day, so we were super busy. Those days honestly feel like a blur to me, an awesome, amazing, wonderful blur, but still a blur. We were surrounded by so many wonderful people during this time, and I look back and realize how grateful I am for all of their help and support. I know I am being super sentimental in this post, but I can't help it. It was an amazing experience!
I am so grateful to be sealed to my husband for time and all eternity. He truly is my other half, and I really don't know what I would do without him. He does so much for me and Rosalie, and he is a wonderful example of hard work, honesty, genuine kindness, and love. He will probably kill me if I go on any longer though, so I better stop, but just know that he is my whole world, and I think he is amazing. We are so blessed to have Rosalie in our lives now, and I can't wait to see what else the future has in store for our family.

Happy 2nd Anniversary Babe!

xoxo
