Rosalie's 4 Month Update

This little one was 4 months old on the 3rd and she had her 4 month check up last week, so I figured it was time for an update :)
Her Stats:
Head circumference: 15.25 inches (7th percentile)
Weight: 11 pounds 13 ounces (7th percentile)
Length: 24 inches (30th percentile)

She is still small, but is growing really well :)
Get a load of this ham!
Her appointment went really well, and the doctor said that she was doing great. She is growing well, and right on track developmentally. Her head is a little bit misshapen because she favors one side, so the doctor told me what to do about that.

I just love the faces that she was pulling in these pictures!
She was so wiggly ha. She LOVES when she is naked or stripped down to her diaper. It is the cutest!
All About Rosalie:

Sleeping: Rosalie gets better and better with her sleeping all of the time. She now usually goes to bed at about 8 or 9 pm and will wake up anywhere from 3 to 6 am to eat. If she wakes up at 3 am to eat, then she will often go back to sleep until about 6 or 7 am. However, if she wakes up past 5 am, then she usually won't go back to sleep ha. I think it is because it is light outside, and she thinks that it is time to wake up haha. As for naps, she doesn't really nap haha. She will sleep a couple of times during the day for anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes, but that's about as good as it gets ha. I am hoping she will have more regulated naps as she gets older, and will actually want to sleep during the day.

Nursing: She continues to be an amazing little eater! This girl has never had a problem nursing, and I feel so grateful! She will usually nurse quite often during the day, and I really don't have a set number of times that a nurse her during the day because I go by her signals. However, I will usually nurse her every 2 to 3 hours, and then whenever she wakes up at night.

Personality: She is getting more and more of a personality all of the time. She is truly a happy baby that loves people. She likes to talk and smile, and is happy when people are giving her their full attention. She also loves to squeal, and has the biggest smile that I have ever seen! She will start to wiggle and smile whenever she sees me, and it totally melts my heart. She is a mama's girl through and through, but she loves her daddy so much too!

Her pediatrician told me that I could start feeding her certain foods right away, so I was pretty excited! So far I have just given her rice cereal, and she wasn't too sure about it haha. She is getting better though, and seemed to like it more the second time.

I think more food ended up on her bib than in her mouth :)

Things Rosalie Loves:
*Nursing
*Smiling
*Being held
*Babbling
*Playing with toys
*Sucking on her teething ring or my fingers
*Bathing
*Being naked

Things Rosalie Doesn't Like:
*Her carseat
*Not being held
* Getting her bum changed in the middle of the night
*Sleeping past 6 am
*Napping during the day
*Being away from momma
She really is such a blessing to my Chanse and me, and we couldn't imagine live without her. She has taught us to love in a whole new way, and has shown us what life is really all about. Each day she gets more and more fun, and learns something new. I always think "this is the best stage", and then it gets better. The lack of sleep, poopy diapers, and crying fits are all worth it when this little one smiles and babbles at me :) Being her mom is the best thing ever!!!
