Father's Day Weekend

I had an awesome Father's Day weekend so I thought it would be fun to link up on this Marvelous Monday and talk about it :)

Saturday was a good day because I got to do a lot of this :)
I had a good time snuggling Rose, playing with her, and watching Tinker Bell movies (I watch them over and over again for her of course ;)!) Chanse spent the first half of the day fixing his car because it just stopped working on Friday. Luckily, he and his brother were able to figure out the problem and fix it! I was so thankful! But Chanse thought that it would be funny to tease me, and I was a bit worried when he called to tell me that it was going to cost $750 dollars to fix the car. I obviously didn't find this quite as funny as he did.

Once he was all done with the car, we went out to do some Father's Day shopping :) We went to a couple different stores, and looked at all sorts of fun stuff. It was honestly just nice to be out as a family and spend time together. I don't get to see this man enough because he is always working so hard for us.

Apparently neither of them found it necessary to look at the camera...
 My two favorite people!

Rose was happy to be stripped down to her onesie as soon as we got home. She kept kicking and grabbing her little legs while she was swinging. Am I the only one who is amazed by her flexibility?! Babies are awesome!

Later Saturday evening we went to launch a rocket that my Dad and brother had made for one of my brother's merit badges. The rocket was sweet, and I was so impressed with how high it went. Rose was unimpressed though, and decided to eat my shirt instead ;)
Sunday was the big day aka Father's Day, and we made sure to tell Chanse and my Dad just how incredible they both were :) They enjoyed their cards and their gifts, and yummy food!
Church was awesome as usual, and I loved that the talks at church were geared around Fathers. Rose is so lucky to have Chanse as her daddy, and I am blessed to call him my husband for eternity :)

I am so glad that I was able to celebrate my own amazing Dad as well! He has always been the best example to me of hard work and living the Gospel

My older sister Courtney, my awesome Dad, and me
This was taken at my Dad's Birthday Party. We wanted party hats at the last second, but we didn't have any sooo..... we improvised! I am rocking one of those butt cushions and my sister has on some reindeer ears. I think we did pretty good ;)
My Dad at my graduation. His support meant the world to me :)
I hope all of you Fathers out there had an awesome Father's Day and felt just how important you are and how much you mean to those who love you :)

*How did you spend your Father's Day weekend?
