A Recap Of Our Week

Saturday, June 2, 2018

I really am trying to do better about blogging, so here is a little recap of our week. We spent Monday outside swimming and having a good time. As long as I got in and out of the pool with the kiddos, I didn't get too hot in the 98 degree weather.

Monday evening Chanse got home after being gone for 8 days and the kids and I were thrilled! We spent some time at the park until the dang bugs got so bad we had to go in. The gnats are SO bad right now! It is miserable!

This is her strong face. ;)
On Wednesday I had my 13 week checkup and since Chanse had to be on campus, it was me and the kiddos. Thankfully, they are really good most of the time and I normally don't have a problem. Also, as a wife of a Ph.D. student, I am used to being alone A LOT ha! I'm sure a lot of other women can relate.
Everything went great at the appointment and the doctor was even sweet enough to let Rosalie and Riley listen to their own heartbeats with the doppler. They were both thoroughly convinced it was their baby's heartbeats though. ;) We took these pictures before the appointment because my kids are obsessed with taking pictures. I wonder where they get that from... ;)
Another hot day, more time spent outside swimming. :)
My belly is starting to show so I am just embracing it, even if it looks like I just had a larger meal than I should've haha!
Chanse got home a bit earlier on Thursday and joined us outside. :)
Rosalie had a busy week with stage rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and then her actual recital. She still has two more performances on Saturday and Sunday, and then we are done until August. She lives for ballet and dance in general though, so I know that we have a long future of dance ahead of us. And I am super excited because I want her to do what she loves! :)
 CUTEST BUNNY EVER!
xoxo
