Skin Care Products I Use For My Face

I have had skin problems off and on for my entire life, so I am always trying to find a skin care routine for my face that works well for me. At the beginning of this pregnancy my skin was especially bad and I was kind of freaking out because I didn't know what to do. Right now I have found some products that seem to work well for me and help to keep my skin pretty clear and moisturized for the most part. Obviously I change things up every now and then and try new things, but right now these are my favorites.

I love using this face wash whenever I'm in the shower because it isn't super harsh and it leaves my face feeling clean. I do recommend washing your face with it and rinsing it off right away though because it has dried out my skin before when I left it on for any longer than that.

I bought this over the summer and I love it! I find that it works best for me when I use it every other day rather than every day. It does a great job of gently scrubbing my face and removing the dead skin, makeup, etc. that clog my pores and create blemishes.

My sister gave me this recently and I really like it! It is a scrub, but is very gentle on my skin so it doesn't irritate it at all. I also love the smell! I just put it on my Clarisonic Mia and scrub it all over my face. I find that it doesn't dry my face out and leaves it feel super refreshed and clean, which is exactly what I want.

I bought this a while back and have used it off and on. When I am pregnant I seem to have less oil coming off of my skin, so this moisturizer creates a great balance for me. However, when I am not pregnant it can sometimes create too much oil and causes me to get blemishes. So if you have super oily skin this probably isn't for you. :)

For the past month or so I have been getting these dry patches on my face that are super unattractive ha! I get one on my upper lip that looks like the red cool-aid mustache and one on the side of my chin. I have found that although I can't get them to go away, I can help reduce the dryness and redness by using Eucerin cream. I really think that this is pregnancy related since my skin is more dry, but I guess we will see after baby boy gets here.

I hope this list has helped! I'd love to hear what works best for you!

  2. Just a thought but do you currently use EOS Lip Balm (the one that looks like an egg) I am pregnant and I had a terrible reaction to the lip balm that also gave me dry patches on my face that I could not get rid of no matter how much I moisturized until I quit using the lip balm. Hope they go away soon!
