Pregnancy #2 Update 26 Weeks

How far along? 26 weeks (as of Saturday)
Total weight gain: I think like 5ish
Maternity clothes? No
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleep is good :) I just have a hard time getting up in the mornings to work, but that's normal whether I'm pregnant or not ha!
Best moment this week: Rosalie's birthday party. It made me so excited to have a little boy and throw parties for him too! :)
Miss anything? I miss having a stronger stomach. It is almost laughable watching me get up and down.
Movement:  Yes! This little guy moves so much more than Rosalie and it is so fun! The other day I felt him on either end of my stomach and I realized how big he is getting! :)
Food cravings:  Salads, spicy foods, chips, and Rosalie's birthday cake really hit the spot too ha! I could not get enough of the frosting!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Too much dairy makes me very sick .:( But I already know that so it's my own fault when I eat too much :/
Gender: BOY!
Labor signs: No, just lots and lots of Braxton Hicks contractions
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks contractions and pelvic floor pain. Same old stuff :)
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Very happy! I feel like I am so blessed and have so much to look forward to!
Looking forward to:  My next doctor's appointment! It means I am getting closer and closer to meeting this sweet boy! : )
Exercise:  I found out that my knee pain is due to the fact that I have femoral anteversion. My hips tilt in which twists my knee caps inward and displaces them. I am also very flexible with my lower legs so I swing my legs somewhat outward when I run. This displaces my knee caps even more when running, doing squats, etc. It is basically an anatomical issue that I can't really fix, but there are things I can do to improve it. :) I will start physical therapy soon, but right now I am using some extra knee support while running, mixing up my workouts to increase the strength of my inner thighs, and being careful with the strength training that I do so as to not make it worse. :)

  1. Precious bump! I don't remember getting so many braxton hicks contractions this early, but maybe it was because it was my first pregnancy? Did you experience that with your first baby, too?

    1. Thank you! And yeah I had just as many with my daughter. I had a lot of friends who didn't get any at all though so everyone is just different. :)
