The other night Chanse and I were talking about being happy in the midst of the trials in our lives, and he started telling me what one of his professors at school had told him. His professor had said that he believes the key to this life is being happy, and I couldn't agree more! When I am looking at things with a positive attitude, even tough situations seems brighter, and I am able to get through them. This doesn't mean that you fake being happy when you are going through turmoil, but instead pray for the comfort and the ability to see the good in your life.
Chanse also said that his professor brought up the talk titled "Come What May, and Love It" by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin. I vaguely remembered the talk, but wanted to go look it up to remember it better. I did, and I am so glad! I know that if I can keep an eternal perspective and pray to Heavenly Father for help when I am going through a hard time, that he will bless me and help me to find happiness :)
Since reading this talk helped me, I wanted to share it with you as well :)
