I'm Finally Doing a Weekend Recap!

It has been too long since I have done a weekend recap, so here goes....

We started our Friday off per usual with lots of play time. Rosalie loves to pull each and every one of her little hanging toys off of her play gym, so you can tell it's still morning if they are all attached ;)
My mom and dad came into town for a quick trip, and it was SO good to see them! Did I mention I wish we lived closer? Rosalie loves her Nana and Papa so much, and they couldn't get enough of her. It was sad to see them go. Those of you who live by your family please do me a favor, and never take it for granted.
Friday night was the Geology Opening Social, so our little family of 3 went and had a great time. I love Chanse's major because it is so much smaller than mine was and you can get to know people so much better. Chanse has some great friends, and I think their wives are pretty awesome as well :)
On Saturday morning I was actually excited to go to the gym because I wanted to wear my new workout gear! I got in 3 miles and did some leg exercises and called it good. When I think I was supposed to be ready to run a half marathon next weekend I want to laugh/cry. I want to laugh because there is no way I would've been ready and cry because I love the course for the half I was going to run! But I am just glad to be exercising regularly, and I know I can do another half marathon in the future :)
I got my new foundation in the mail on Saturday, and I was soooo excited! I will do a review on it soon because I LOVE it so much!
Poor Chanse got sick on Saturday night so we missed the night session of Stake Conference. He was still sick on Sunday, so Rosalie and I braved the Sunday session of conference alone. She did really well, and played most of the time. Don't worry I took these snapchat pics for my sis before it started ;)

My sissy invited us over for dinner at her house, and Rose was smothered with hugs and kisses. She loves her Auntie Courtney, and especially loved that she let her suck on piece after piece of watermelon. We had turkey burgers for dinner, and they were good! I have never had them before, and I absolutely hate hamburgers of any kind, so I was happily surprised to see that the turkey burger really didn't taste anything like a hamburger.

We brought some leftovers home to our poor sick guy, and had a Lord of The Rings marathon. I am pretty sure that this picture can speak for itself....
Elves!

And because I just love this picture of my two favorite people.....

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

xoxo
