My First Real Concert and Other Weekend Fun

My sweet husband got me tickets to the Tim McGraw concert for Mother's Day, and we finally got to go to his concert this last weekend. It was such a fun trip, and since it was so close to our anniversary, it is kind of doubling as our little anniversary get away :) Chanse also got me an awesome cowboy (cowgirl?) hat for Mother's Day for the concert, so I was sure to bring it along. I may not be a cowgirl, but I love my hat! My amazing mom watched Rosalie for us, and I was so incredibly grateful!

My always inappropriate husband. Good thing I love him ;)
My Outfit- shirt: American Eagle (old) similar here | jeans: Wet Seal (similar) | boots: old (similar here and here) | cowgirl hat: IFA (similar here)
We sat on the grass on a blanket while we watched Cassadee Pope and Kip Moore, and then we all stood up and had a great time when Tim McGraw came out and performed. It was so fun to be with friends, and we had such a good time :) Everyone sounded amazing live, and I am already asking when we can go to our next concert!
Side Note: Chanse's new nickname is Grizzly Adams. He is living it up until he goes back to BYU and has to cut off his hair and beard again ;)
I pumped all day while we were gone, and I that went really well. I had no idea that I produced so much milk in one day because I have never been gone from Rosalie for more than one feeding. We brought a cooler along in the back seat, and I just put the milk in there to keep it nice and cool. I didn't want to be away from Rose for the night so we Chanse started the drive home at midnight. He would've gladly stayed in the city, but I am so glad that he was willing to drive us home :) I really had so much fun during the day (and only cried once), but I knew I would be a total mess if I was away from my baby for the whole night. We got home at about 3, and it was so nice to see my darling little angel. My wonderful mom took great care of her, and she was sleeping soundly. My mom sent me several pictures during the day, and it helped me feel better knowing that she was happy and having a great time :)
On Saturday my Mom and I did our thing at the Farmer's Market, and we had a good time. I LOVE spending time with my mom on Saturdays because I know that it won't be long before I am back out in Provo, and won't get to see her nearly as much. I was a bit tired though, 2 hours of sleep the night before kind of does that to you ;)
Chanse always watches Rosalie while we get set up, and then he brings her to me. This works really well, and Rosalie gets all sorts of attention from the customers. She is pretty irresistible ;)
I really don't get to see Chanse much during the weekdays, so we try to spend as much time together as we can on the weekends. Chanse suggested the we go to lunch after the Farmer's Market, and I was all for it. We ate at the The Quarry, in Vernal and it was delicious! I have never been there before, so it was fun to go somewhere new. I ordered the french dip sandwich, and loved it. One day I will remember to take pictures of my food before stuffing it in my face...hopefully.
All of our morning activities wore this sweet little girl out!
Rose and I went to see Hercules with my mom and dad on Saturday, and she did so good! She was making noises during the movie, and it was so sweet. She even giggled louder than I have ever heard her giggle before. Funny how that happens when she is supposed to be quiet. Chanse was supposed to come along too, but his desire to nap was stronger ha! I don't blame him, but that doesn't mean that I didn't make him feel bad for not coming ;)
After the movie we had a friend's reception to go to, but Chanse and I both left our phones in the car, so this is the only picture that we have. Good thing it's a cute one ;) Rose got dressed up, and we had a great time talking with friends that we hadn't seen in a while.
Rose is so animated now, and she loves to talk! I put her on the floor at church on Sunday, and she just sat there and talked to me while she played with her toys :) I just love her!
I love the weekends when my hubby is home :) I hope you all had a great weekend and have a wonderful Monday!

xoxo
