My Daughter Pulls the Funniest Faces and Some Baby Must Haves

Yesterday I took Rosalie into the Pediatrician so that he could look at her tongue. It is attached clear to the end, and I wanted to see if she needed to have it clipped to help her nurse better and also to help her with her speech later. She is nursing just fine, but I would hate for it to effect her later in life when she starts talking.

After we got back from the doctor's office Auntie Courtney came over to see Rosalie and me. It was awesome to have her over because she held Rosalie for me while I got all sorts of things done :)

I have been thinking lately about all of the things that have made taking care of Rosalie so much easier for me, and I thought I would talk about a few of them. I am not being compensated for reviewing these products, and I just really like them :)

I have loved having this nursing pillow to use when I am nursing her! It makes holding her up so much easier, and it also gives my arm a little bit of a break. It is also really easy to carry around so I can take it basically anywhere with me.

Rosalie got her first diaper rash when she was about 2 weeks old, and this stuff was awesome! Her diaper rash was gone in just a couple of days, and her little bum wasn't red anymore. I know that most people know to get this with a new baby, but I just wanted to add my opinion that it works great.

So my mom was the one who got this for me because I wanted to be able to see when I nursed and changed Rosalie at night. I didn't want to wake my husband up by turning on our bedroom light or a bright lamp, so this was the perfect solution. It provides plenty of light for me to see Rosalie, but it doesn't light up the whole room :) It is also great because I don't have to hold it and can easily use both of my hands.

This was given to me as a gift, and I love it! I fill it full if diapers and wipes, and I basically just carry it around to wherever I need it.  I can easily take it to bed with me at night, and I haul it around the house with me during the day. It holds quite a few diapers, and I store Desitin and other items in the little pockets :)

This was also given to me as a gift, and I am so grateful. This is what Rosalie sleeps in during the day, and she seems to sleep pretty well in it. It has a little vibrating feature that really helps to sooth her, so I keep that on most of the time when she is in it. The sleeper can be rocked back and forth manually, and it has a little buckle to snap your baby in when they get older. It is really easy to fold up and take places as well, so taking it in the car is super simple.

When Rosalie was first born her little nails were so sharp, and she would scratch her face really bad every time that her hands were out. I had some outfits that came with hand covers, but most didn't. I would always put these on her when she had outfits on that exposed her hands, and they saved her little face!

I really like this bath tub because I only have to put a little bit of water in it and it is ready to go. I can also take it anywhere with me, and I don't have to bath her in the bathroom if I don't want to. The little part of top keeps her up out of the deep water, while still allowing her to get wet. When she is older I will likely use a bathtub that goes in the actual bathtub, but for now this is great!

I hope that this will help some of you new moms or soon to be moms out there who are looking for some helpful products.

And for fun here are some pics of Rosalie pulling the funniest/ugliest faces that I think are adorable.....
